ATEX Certification

European ATEX Directive (94/9/EC) has been effective from 1st July, 2003. Organizations in EU must follow the directives to protect employees from explosion risk in areas with an explosive atmosphere.

ATEX Directive is applicable to all kinds of electrical and non-electrical equipment, including safety system, apparatus, controlling instrument, adjustment device, etc. For beer production equipment, there is a dust explosion risk for raw material handling equipment due to it always stay in dust environment.
